Nöttönen is a soft, absorbent and ideal nappy for a newborn baby.

There's no velcro fastening. Ruffles and stretchy terry towelling catch the milky poo easily. The hourglass shaped boosters absorb moisture easily.

The flaps stay in place because they are stretchy and cut long enough which means that with little babies you don't have to use any snappies etc.

With Nikky nappy cover you can use Nöttönen nappies without a snappi. If your child is a bit older and you use them with wool covers, you might need a snappi to keep the nappy in place.

The material is ultra soft stretchy terry towelling and made specially for Nöttönen nappies. You can't compare this material with any other material that is used to make reusable nappies. It's always soft, even if you hang it to dry.

NB 2-4kg (without an elastic band at the back), length 36cm.

For slim babies size S might fit even if they were heavier.

 


NB-size Nöttönen fits with a NB-size Nikky nappy cover or a S-size Bebes wool cover. S-size Nöttönen fits with S or M-size Nikky nappy cover.

For the night you can add the Nöttönen hourglass shaped extra booster.

Material: Finnish made stretchy terry towelling, 75% cotton, 25% polyester. Polyester is in the middle of the material so the part sitting against the baby's skin is cotton. The material is manufactured for Nalle-nappies.

Washing instructions:

Wash the nappy before first use 4 times in 60 degrees with similar colours. Absorbency and an even spreading of moisture gets better after washing.

Rinse dirty nappies and spread them airily before washing. You can also soak them in cold water. Remember to change the water daily.

Wash the nappies in 60 degrees with laundry powder that has under 5% soap and has no bleach in it.

Don't use fabric softener, it affects the absorbency negatively and can irritate baby's skin. You can use a little bit of vinegar, which desinfects and softens the nappy.

Shape the nappies gently when damp and hang to dry. Can be gently tumble dryed. Shape them also after you've tumble dryed them.

For stains try gall soap.
