A truly new concept in birthing pool, La Bassine™ combines style, comfort and privacy with optimium practibility. The pool is designed as a birthing pool. It has thick and sturdy walls, so you can lean against the walls freely.

There are two handles inside the pool, which will make changing positions in a water even easier. (In a water changing positions is easy anyway). The pool fits in a neat carry bag and is therefore easy to carry along. You fill up the pool with air, just like children's paddle pools. Filling up will take appr. 5min with an electric pump or 15min. with a manual one. It fills up with water in 25 minutes.   

You can take the pool to the hospital if your hospital doesn't have a birthing pool (Talk with your midwife first). Unfortunately even the hospital's pool rooms are sometimes busy. Now you can make sure, that you don't need to be left out from the relaxing effects of water. You can also set up the pool at home and use it for relaxation and pain relief before going to the hospital. If you are planning a homebirth this pool is a great choise. Later you can use the pool as a children's swimmingpool or fill it up with balls for them.

The pool is packed in a neat little carry bag. You will also need an electronic or manual pump and a waterhose for filling up the pool and a pump to empty the pool. You can get these at a hardware store.
